A standard wire crimper will do a great job on any connector for 8 gauge wire… but what do you do if you have larger wire to crimp.

Found this tool at Harbor Freight in the US. It does a great job on wire up to 0 gauge… costs less than $50… and the best part is that it is very compact.

Note: The tool started to show signs of surface rust after only a few month on board. We treated it with a thin coat of T9.  This has stopped the rust… two years on now.
