Q came with a Plastimo Life Raft stored in a special compartment on the stern. In some sea conditions it got very wet there. We felt that the wet compartment was a better place for supplementary fuel and water tanks.

When it was time to replace the raft… we chose a Viking Rescue You and modified its mounting bracket (with additional straps) that allowed us to mount it behind the helm seat.

This Viking raft has great reviews… and as a bonus… it is less expensive and smaller than others.
